OMEN by HP Challenger Series: How to Sign Up

Here you will find a step-by-step explanation of how to sign up for the Online Qualifier of the OMEN by HP Challenger Series tournament.

REGISTERING AN ACCOUNT

Head over to www.omengaming.co and click on “Log in” on the top right panel of the website. It will lead you to the team registration page – please click “Create new account” or register via any of the social media buttons available. 

After you have created an account, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Kindly check your inbox (and spam folder), to complete the registration process.

SIGNING UP FOR THE QUALIFIERS

Once you completed your registration, please login into your account and click on the “Register” tab on the top menu bar. Enter the necessary personal information, then click “Next player” to register your three teammates and a stand-in teammate.

Now that you’ve entered your player and team information, you are only one step away to complete your registration. To sign up for the qualifiers, the Team Leader needs to select the preferred qualifier slot on the designated date. Selected slot is subject to availability.

The roster must consist of four (4) members and one stand-in will be allowed in this tournament. Flights and accommodation will only be provided for the main roster of 4 members attending the Final Event in Thailand. This tournament is open to amateur players only.

Important Roster Information

  • The main roster (i.e. excluding stand in) must consist a minimum of 3 nationals (citizens/residents) for the country qualifier that they are playing in.
  • Any roster changes must be notified to the admin minimum 5 days before the tournament date. Any roster changes made beyond stipulated dateline can be denied.
  • For players under the age of 18, we will require a guardian consent form signed and submitted before joining the tournament.
  • Organiser reserves the right to edit nicknames and/or URL aliases. Names of teams or players that are similar to another participant’s name, are subject to change.  Only registered members are allowed to play as part of the team. Teams and players are required to use registered Team Names and Player Nicknames in all official matches.


TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The tournament will be played in Squad FPP mode and will follow the official PUBG scoring algorithm. The qualifiers are broken down into three (3) phases:

  • Preliminary Qualifier Stage
  • Qualifying Stage
  • Final Event


Preliminary Qualifier Stage

The Preliminary Qualifier Stage will consist of four (4) check-in slots and three (3) rounds will be played per slot. The top 5 teams of each slot will secure their place in the Qualifying Stage.


Qualifying Stage

Six (6) rounds will be played in the =Qualifying Stage. Number of teams qualified will depend on the countries slot allocation.


Main Event

Twelve (12) rounds will be played during the Main Event.

Check-In Rules

Team Lead of each team must confirm the participation once more, right before the Qualifier. Players are required to check-in one (1) hour before the game starts. 

COMMUNICATION

Communications will be done via Discord channel and e-mail. A Discord server will be created for each of the Qualifiers to facilitate lobby creations and queries. Official communication will be conducted via e-mails sent to the designated Team Captains.
